Setting up Tera Term so that it opens ready to log and display the print data

It is very beneficial to have as much automation as possible when you are logging print data.
For example:  From an alarm system where the logging runs 24 hours a day.
The user does not want the burden of attending to the logging application (Tera Term) each time the PC is down or after a power outage. Tera Term terminal emulator software seems to provide good automation for unattended long term recording of print data. Windows also supplies configuration services for applications like Tera Term to automatically start when the PC is powered up, for example after a power outage. Using the above features means that the PC resumes logging where it left off after power comes back on. No user attention is required.


Goal:

Log print data unattended for days, weeks and months. This includes unattended recovery from a power outage that
resumes logging automatically without any user intervention.



Below is an example of Tera Term settings to "auto start logging" as soon as the application is opened:

  Tera Term > Setup > Additional Settings >
 Log > Auto start logging

SAVE TERA TERM SETTINGS 
          (MANDATORY)          







After all the settings are made, e.g. Baud, font,
 Save-To--File name, Auto Start, screen color, etc., 
save the settings:







        Tera Term > Setup > Save Setup
